I legit cannot understand how this is the most toxic thing you have ever seen, also how are you surprised how long have you been online 1 day, toxicity is everywhere online and worse that this cause anonymity exists, ESPECIALLY in video games! I am not saying they are right to act like this but being surprised is ......

Watching this series made me start an enhancement shaman of my own, time to learn a new spec that i've never touched and it's all thanks to you!

Hate that this happened to you! Wish nothing but the best for you in the future w/runs. Sucks that the guy who you spoke w/in discord and sent him footage to do a video on this was in the end telling ppl to not allow duos in their runs at all...even if he meant something else, it came across as all duos. I do not pug unless I have someone with me, who's usually 3k+, and we're legit honest hard playing ppl who just want to run keys and have fun, possibly meeting new ppl along the way to run with. The insinuation that guy gave that duos are bad was in poor taste. There's bad players in this game, we all know that - if we, the GOOD/KIND ppl band together, we can be so beneficial to one another & maybe push these toxic players out - or bore them to death so they stay in their lane. I didn't play Retail for ages and don't plan to , came back to try out Cataclysm Classic and it is by far my worst experience in the terms of toxicity...i literally don't want to play it because of this player base wretched mindset

I apologize if someone said this already, but go get some Neural Silencers, I keep them on me for situations like this too. They'll prevent you from being gripped, doesn't solve all the issues but it helps.

I cant believe people aren't talking about the group in the BH enough. The whole time my mouth was wide open, it's so wrong for them to do that to you but I'm so glad you schooled them on dodging their evil play. I play a VDH (have done before meta btw :P) and will be happy to play with you. I used to main shaman when I first started and was GOD AWFUL switching to VDH actually made me good at the game (Yoseizura-Dragonblight)

I have so much anxiety pugging mythics but it is what I have to do if I want to get better gear; thank you for your content and the charming way you deliver it

I do that same thing. Anything that distracts me... And I just randomly button mash. If I know the spec we'll enough that my random button mashes still get the job done... Well. All good. But... Even in Remix where it really doesn't matter, I'll get distracted and lose track of my feral bleeds and just Yolo it. 😂

believe me being meta isnt a bliss either :) you will never be good enough for "elite" puggers, i still remember some demo in legion flaming me for "playing meta and underperforming" for his standards because he did a tiny bit more dps in some key :P i was mostly a raider back then anyway and usually did one run for weekly. got more interested in m+ in bfa when we were not meta anymore and my own guild didnt want to invite me to even +15 so had to proved them wrong. just out of curiosity, do you actually enjoy affliction or just did it as a part of your project because almost noone plays it? i rarely watch wow stuff on yt and totally boycott twitch sorry but this was interesting.playing affliction only lock as main for around 15 years as the only main and trying to do whatever content i manage to do. pugged my way to a bit above 3.1k with some assistance from 2 close friends in s3. will probably try again in s4, got a bit distracted by d4 for a few weeks to not see pug declines temporarily,its abit amusing to see yourself in 100 top affli locks worldwide most seasons, around 20 bfa in the very darkest times,while being a "filthy casual" forever, not there yet now closer to 2.9 but might have another go. no

Thanks for making these challenges, I'm kinda considering starting one myself in the War Within after seeing your video about these series helping you overcome anxiety in pugging. I usually play with guildies, but at times like these where most people take a break but I want to carry on I have no other choice than to pug and sometimes I find it difficult to overcome that mental hurdle of joining a key. Once I'm in a key I'm usually fine. I even used to be very skittish about joining low keys, but watching you and others do these challenges helped me get over that. 💙

dps is the only thing thing they care about, typically overall dps, while its often the least impotant part since "blasting" is everything ppl focus on, yes if you play as non meta dps the snipefest can be really awful, even if you are actually competent at your spec + do utility, save your bigest cds on hardest pulls etc. global ignore list addon is a nice thing to have, over 400 names by now and its supposed to be infinite, ppl are ignored on all your alts too. just a tiny request if the author of the addon ever sees it, please add an option to disable the auto message that gets sent to them that you have ignored them if they try to continue to flame you in whisper after its done. i dont want ANY interaction at all after they are ignored even if they cant whisper more. i couldnt find the option at least. but yea a fellow sentient being player here, big respect to you :)

On the Second Boss on neltharus, the tank tuning his back on the Boss means nothing. In that phase the Boss dont melee the tank. Only the debuff do damage to the tank. So, he died because he didnt used his cds properly. But that time is the only time where the tank can turn his back on the Boss.

Congratulations on your achievement. You have made amazing progress. This series is finishing, but since you said you still want to play the spec I would like to give few last advices, based on todays video-> you tipped the scales a bit too much the other way. Aoe is not so important for shaman due to funneling... but funneling also is not be all and all during the keys. Also, you might have misunderstood a little bit the idea, or rather the purpose of funneling. I'm only basing this on what you have said in the video, but you explained funneling as targeting the mob with most amount of hp... which it is not exactly that. Funneling is for targeting the most threatening mob in the pack (which usually have most hp, but not always) or most hp during bolstering weeks. For example in last pull of Neltharus I always focus the bird, since it is most disrupting enemy, dealing a lot of damage and pushing everybody away. You can blow up such targets, especially if you go full ham, single target on them (Elemental blasts instead of chain lightnings and so on). You also said you wished you chain lightning during the pull in Braken, which you definitelly should. There was no dangerous enough mob there (other than maybe the totem), to focus on funneling. The ability to differenciate between when to funnel and when to aoe will come with experience, but remember-> learn to mix and match both playstyles, not focus entirely on one :) Another little something something is that you can remove slows with Spirit Walk. This is the part that should be easily known. But did you knew that it will also cancel all negative effects, that come with a slow, like for example the dot from proto drake in HoI? Spirit Walk is best saved there for a pseudo- defensive. You cannot use it every time if I recall correctly, but you can do it every other. Might be important, if you want to push higher keys later on. The last thing is if you want to learn a bit more about enh, funneling, see how it is done, how it should be done and hear an explanation about it I highly recommend watchin a youtube video from the creator Waves. I hope I do not break some etiquete writing about somebody else, but he is one of the top guys and his video +13 Ruby Life Pools is pretty insightfull. I suffer from all these things that everyone else suffers from but the difference between me and the other people is I used it as an excuse over and over again. I dunno why I was getting this in my recommended but that's definitely a mistake.

Maybe the priest has ADHD thats why he is flustering and messing up his spells ?

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I've also seen very toxic groups, although not this bad. Just people who capslock complain the whole key. Either way, it leaves a sour taste

if you were playing of the god tier class's <ret pala - dk > you could have turned the table over them and just ignored the mech and kept on healing like its noting hack you could have even finished the last boss on that 8 without the tank

After the first grip into mechs I would pulled every close trash on top of the boss. lol
